Preparation of surfaces
Before applying the JEDYNKA NEOKOR + paint, steel and cast iron surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned of rust by sandblasting or shot-blasting to a purity level of at least Sa 2 according to PN ISO 8501-1. Matt the aluminum and copper elements with fine-grained sandpaper, remove dust and degrease. The surfaces to be painted should be dry, clean, dust-free and degreased, e.g. with extraction naphtha. In the case of renovation of old paintwork, all flaking fragments of the old coating and other contaminants that may limit the adhesion of the primer paint should be removed, and then the entire surface of the substrate should be dusted and degreased.
Paint
The product should be thoroughly mixed before use. Depending on the degree of corrosion risk and the required paint durability, apply 1-2 coats. The second layer can be applied after the previous one has dried (after at least 16 hours). A dry film thickness between 40 and 65 μm is recommended for best protection. Priming should be performed at an ambient temperature of +5°C up to +25°C and air humidity below 80%. The temperature of the painted substrate must be at least 3°C above the dew point temperature. Note! During painting works and after their completion, ventilate the room before use until the characteristic smell disappears. Jedynka Neokor + is not a topcoat and should be repainted with a topcoat at least 24 hours after applying the primer. Chlorinated rubber products can be applied to the dried Jedynka Neokor + coating after min. 72 hours from painting. Do not apply Jedynka Neokor + paints on galvanized surfaces.
