Preparation of surfaces
New surfaces: should be dry, clean and degreased. New plaster and concrete substrates can be painted after 3-4 weeks of seasoning. Previously painted surface: should be thoroughly cleaned of any flaking paint, dust, grease and other dirt. Paint shouldn’t be applied on surfaces primed with lime milk. Walls previously painted with emulsion paint should be thoroughly washed with solution of water detergent and rinsed with clean water. Layers of glue (calcimine) paint have to be removed completely to uncover plaster.
Paint
Before application paint should be well stir. Product does not require thinning. Paint used for basecoat can be diluted up to 20% with water. It is recommended to apply 2-3 coats, to achieve required parameters of coating. Consecutive coats can be applied not earlier than after 4 hours. It is not allowed to add to the product lime or chalk. One layer is sufficient if white walls and ceilings doesn't have visible stains and dirt. Painting should be performed at the temperature from +5°C to +25°C. Notice! Please remember that the surface painted with matt paint is more prone to scratches and mechanical damage in comparison to paint with higher gloss level.
