Preparation of surfaces
New, unpainted surfaces must be dry and thoroughly cleaned of any flaking paint, dust, grease and other dirt, which can impair adhesive power of paint. New plaster and concrete substrates can be painted after 4 weeks of seasoning (we recommend to wait with painting of new buildings after the first heating season, during this time the construction humidity will evaporate), after priming with JEDYNKA® FASADOWA thinned with water up to 30%. In case of renovation remove any flaking old paint, work chalked substrates through sandblasting and glossy surfaces matt down with sanding, then surfaces should be dusted and washed with water prior to painting. Layers of lime and glue paint have to be removed completely to uncover plaster. Uneven surfaces, cracks should be even with cement-lime filler and after that primed with thinned paint.
Paint
Before application paint should be well stir. Product does not require thinning. It is recommended to apply 2-3 coats. It’s not allowed to add to the product lime or chalk. The paint is dry after approx. 2 hours. Consecutive coats can be applied not earlier than after 4 hours. Painting should be performed at the temperature from +5°C to +25°C. Notice! To avoid differences with shades please use paint from one production batch.
